New Chapters in my Creative Business

Last week, I hit publish on something huge—my brand-new branding and website! It’s not just a fresh look; it’s a whole new step in my business. Alongside working with my agent and my amazing 1-1 clients, I’m now selling ready-to-buy prints directly offering my designs straight to my customers.

Turning up the dial

stepping outside my comfort zone

You know that moment when you realise it’s time to turn the dial, shake things up, and step into the unknown? That’s exactly where I am right now. Sometimes, we get so deep into the juggling act of life that we put our creative projects on the back burner. I’ve been fully focused on mentoring, pouring my energy into my students, and letting my studio quietly sell for me. But I always say—streamline one thing, do it well, then introduce something new.

So here I am, taking my own advice and taking a leap of faith.

Am I Worried?

Part of me wants to tell you absolutely not

Because I know I have a skill that sells and I have honed my ability to design prints that connect with the right audience. I understand how to work with clients, market my work, and create designs that sell.

I’ve also built my business from the ground up, taken courses, worked with mentors and learned how to run a muti-cogged business.

Not to mention I’ve been here before, tried something new and have seen it play out with success.

And if there’s ever a gap in my knowledge, I’ll take another course or work with an expert to fill it.

But the other half of me needs to tell you of course I am.

Change always comes with a little fear. Will people love it? Will it work? But I believe in trusting the process, showing up, and taking that next step even when it feels a little wobbly. As I always say, magic happens outside the realm of comfortable.

That’s the beauty of building something you believe in—you keep going, keep learning, and keep growing.

Juggling it all

in the business and outside of it

This new chapter in my business is huge, but it’s come alongside another new chapter, my baby girl Tallulah, and being a mumma to my 2 girlies.

What some might not know is that Tallulah is our little miracle baby as her journey to us wasn’t straightforward. We lost 4 little angels before her, and with every step of the way, I have been reminded how precious, powerful and out of our control life can be.

So it’s a hard juggle, when you have work to do and people counting on you but keep getting personal blows that stab you in the heart. Or when you're passionate about work, but know how precious every minute with family is.

For me being a mother comes first…always. But I also know that creativity makes me a better person and a better mumma.

This new chapter creatively has filled my creative heart in ways I didn’t even expect. It’s kept me me, allowing me to hold onto my identity while sliding into my new era as a two-girl mumma. My children are my dream, my why, and the reason I do everything I do.

I want them to see that you can do anything you set your mind to. That hard work pays off. That passion fuels profit. That art is a career. That getting messy, experimenting, and playing with creativity isn’t just fun—it’s allowed. That work can be exciting and fulfilling.

And honestly? Thea already gets it. She loves popping into my co-working calls and chatting with my in-house community. She sees the joy in what I do, and that’s everything to me.

The Power of Community

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned over the years is that community is everything

Inside my Complete Compositions and In-House Creative groups, I support my students, but honestly, over these past few months, they’ve supported me just as much. Creativity can be lonely, but when you have a space where you can bounce ideas, lift each other up, and share both wins and struggles, it changes everything. These communities have been my rock, reminding me why I love to teach, share, and create.

Structure, Support & Rest

find a support network and lean on them

Running a business, raising two girls, and keeping a household together—it’s a lot. Having a solid structure at home has been so important, but let’s be real—the mental load is hard some days. And you know what? That’s okay. Some days, you just need to sit and watch a film, read a book, go for a walk, or even take a nap. You don’t have to be productive all the time.

But if you do want to pursue your passions, having a strong support network is crucial. For me, that meant leaning on family and friends when I needed to. Lee travels for work, which means I often have to juggle a lot solo, but I’ve learned to ask for help when I need it, and have a support network outside of him… my mum, brother and friends.

A New Era

So here I am, stepping into a new era

I’m still a mumma first, still deeply in love with my creative work, advocating and fostering communities, and still pouring my all into my students but also doubling down on my creative outlet as well. If you’d like to take a peek at my new site and see where this next chapter is taking me, you can check it out here.

I have a suite of free resources ready to help you on your way too, as well as my courses and membership

And lastly a thank you to you for being here, for supporting me, and for being part of this journey. It means everything.

As always, keep creating and I'll speak to you soon,

Natasha xo

The postpartum time is already exhausting, but raising an older child, running a business, managing a creative community after a difficult birth, surgery, complications, recovery from injury on TOP of it all? You’re a superstar!!! You’re so right about already having a distinctive style that sells, that already has fans and collectors; you are way out ahead in this right st the beginning of the venture! Super excited to see your journey unfold! I can’t wait to point people to you!
