WHAT THEY SAY

about the course

I've sold a few designs as greeting cards.

I LOVE In-House Creative. I look forward to the new tutorials every month, and paint along in the lives when I can (as there's often valuable feedback given in these too). The co working sessions are invaluable, and help structure my day. The depth of knowledge and industry experience in the group is amazing too, and everyone is so generous and encouraging.

I've sold a few designs as greeting cards. I feel more varied, and enjoy the loose nature of the videos, as I don't enjoy and am not good at realistic florals.

Seeing how trends evolve in fashion and seeing Natasha's interpretations.

I've really enjoyed the in house membership as I have been able to work my way through the older tutorials and start to improve my skills. I really enjoy the way that Natasha interprets whats trending in the industry/runways and puts her own spin on it with a monthly moodboard and tutorial. Often its a style that I would never have thought to try and pushes me outside of my comfort zone. The membership also keeps me accountable to be working towards my goals and building up my portfolio of designs.

I am enjoying seeing how the trends evolve in fashion and seeing Natasha's interpretations. I like trying out new styles that I would never have thought to paint. I havent started working in the industry but its good to see what others who are working with studios/freelancing are struggling with.

I wouldn't have had the confidence to begin this journey prior to this

The membership has been hugely beneficial to me. My portfolio is much more varied as a result of the wonderful content provided each month. I love not knowing what Natasha is going to show us next! I’m learning new techniques and the creative club live really lets you see how you can move on from that initial lesson. Whether it’s watercolours, acrylic or gouache the variety of mediums covered has allowed me to experiment and really add to my skills set. It's a fantastic membership which I can recommend 100%

Definitely more varied as a designer. For example, with content like the lace and animal skins techniques I had never attempted before, but I really enjoyed them. I'm much more positive about putting my portfolio out there. I now freelance for a fashion print studio and another covering homeware. Prior to Complete Compositions/inhouse creative, I wouldn't have had the confidence to begin this journey and more importantly I didn't know where to start by contacting studios etc. This was an area I had very little knowledge of but the community really gives you a lot of information and insights into the world of print design

I don’t think I would have made it this far in the past year without it.

Living in a more remote, northern location with not much shopping around, it can be lonely and hard to stay relevant/on top of trends. In House has given me a connection to other creatives working in the industry that helps me stay on top of trends, techniques and goings on around the world. The insight gained into various countries/regions and how they operate in the fashion industry is invaluable. Meeting up online and having expertise from a varied source of creatives working in the industry is something most people don’t get to experience and so much can be gleaned from the years of experience in there.

The coworking sessions help me stay accountable and give me the drive to keep going, to keep showing up. It also creates and strengthens relationships across many miles and forms new friendships, which I think is missing in todays world. There isn’t a spirit of competition but rather of friendliness and a willingness to share and help. There really is room at the table for everyone and that is shown in the community. It also gives a place for people to voice their struggles within the industry which helps other not feel alone but also gives room to discuss solutions and ways ahead as well as possible impacts and how to mitigate those.

The new techniques offered as tutorials are amazing! They broaden our abilities and keep us creating new and not the same old. They spark new ideas and we can then put our own spin on a style. It also keeps us thinking outside the box.

Without the In House community, especially while I am in the beginning of my career, I definitely would not be growing as much as I am and I don’t think I would have made it this far in the past year without it. Many of us cannot work in-house and therefore cannot gain the experience we need to work in the industry. In-House Creative helps bridge that gap.

Thank you for all you pour into this group and how much you share! I truly appreciate it!

It's great to connect with like-minded designers

I love being part of the In House Creative group, it's great to connect with like minded designers from around the world and Natasha is incredibly generous with her time and knowledge of the industry. The monthly tutorials are always a great learning resource and have helped me be more experimental with my painting. This is without question the best membership for textile design.

The perfect community to work towards my dream

I am new to design and currently working towards a portfolio to hopefully work for a studio. I am so glad I joined the In House community. There's so many tutorials to stretch my skill set and challenge new ways of working. Lots of content to keep me inspired and also a really friendly community to ask questions from. Plus plenty of 'Natasha time'.
I feel really supported and inspired and feel like I am in the perfect community to work towards my dream of being a designer.

I'm within a group of very talented people who have the same concerns as me.

It helps me not only because of the new techniques that Natasha teaches us but because I feel within a group of very talented people who have the same concerns as me. It keeps me working and motivated.

I think this improves my work and I don't feel alone creating and I am always learning new things.

It has helped me to stop feeling limited in what I can produce

The membership has definitely helped me to stop feeling limited in what I can produce, and that I can find a way to meet any brief that I want to. I have seen and upward steady increase in sales and continued positive feedback from studios.

Helps me to diversity my handwriting and push myself to try new techniques that I wouldn't of otherwise thought to/ thought I could explore

It's great being part of a creative community.

I love being a member of the In House Creative, it's great being part of a creative community. It can be quite lonely working on your own but now I am part of this group of lovely people I always know there will be someone I can reach out to if I want a chat or some creative advice. The buddy system is brilliant too and I've met my buddy once in person and we email most weeks.

I love seeing how other members work and how different everyone's styles are.

Moody florals in the night garden

It offers new things to focus on and hone in on, or a twist in your brain to experiment.

The membership acts as a way to connect with other creative minds, while working from home which can often be more isolated. I can be inspired by the monthly creative learning Tash creates, and how people interpret these as they share their creations. You can be interactive in the membership as much or as little as you want, but it's always nice to give as much as you benefit, and joining the co-working sessions where you can. You can bounce off others in more of a studio vibe, It's a safe space to be able to share worky ideas and creations, as well as hear voices with industry concerns or experience and advice.

It offers new things to focus on and hone in on, or a twist in your brain to experiment, fun with no pressure. It allows me to feel a bit more connected whilst working from home, where I'm more isolated, to let me know my instincts or brain is on the right track with support, even just chit chat 🙂

She is extremely generous with her time and industry knowledge.

Natasha is a really great tutor, I 'met' her when I signed up for her Watercolour Bootcamp and I was very keen to sign up for Inhouse Creative as soon as it became available. She always puts everything into her tutorials and is extremely generous with her time and industry knowledge. The weekly co-working sessions really help to focus me and the live painting Creative Club is always inspiring.

Natasha provides guidance on point for her industry.

I joined Inhouse as a dream to learn more about painting skills for fabric. Well wow, it's so much more, excellent trend, business and painting tutorials, and a community to support, learn from and get feedback on my projects. Natasha provides guidance on point for her industry but also her extensive creative skills means it's a practical friendly learning environment. It fuels my passion...

As a community grow together helping each other.

Being a member of in-house creative for one year I can confidently say this is my support hub where I can clear my design doubts. We sit together to brainstorm on the possible situations regarding print design business and learn and earn from the new trend possibilities. We as a community grow together helping each other to learn new techniques and appreciate the achievements of our fellow designers.

I’ve recently become a consignment designer for a studio, they knew I'd done your courses.

I love being part of the membership, the varied briefs provide a regular dose of inspiration, the opportunity to push my creative skills and try things I usually wouldn’t. The q&as are an invaluable resource, I always come away having learnt something new and Natasha and the other people in the membership are always so friendly and welcoming. It’s a lovely creative community to be a part of.

I really enjoy the varied briefs as it pushes me to create in new ways. I find the Q&As helpful and interesting.

I definitely try more styles now than I used to and feel more confident in doing so. I’ve recently become a consignment designer for a studio which has increased my confidence - and she knew I’d done your courses 😊 So thank you so much, as this wouldn’t have happened otherwise!

emma dyson

A huge thanks for putting it together!

I am so grateful and happy to have found your courses and the membership. I would often sign up for memberships only to find them overwhelming and difficult to put into actionable chunks overtime. With IHC I gained the clarity and created focused work systems within my creative practice I needed to finally!!! gain confidence and send portfolios out into the world.

Suzanna Bartova

I think that you are an amazing teacher...

generous, open, funny who teaches difficult but very necessary foundation skills and truly cares about the results your students have.
I became a better designer thanks to your course and I can see how my designs improved and are better received at my full-time job. I have grown a lot as a designer during this time. Now I feel more confident about my skills and ready to try to sell on my own.

elena Skvirskaya

New media and techniques.

The membership serves my creative needs each month by introducing new media and techniques. Feeling more varied.

I’m so happy to still have this InHouse with you.

You’ve become a sort of mentor to me and that’s awesome! I really needed this and it keeps me on track of my plans.

Becoming an InHouser was one of the most important decisions of 2023 for me. It has given me a community of like-minded people, a place where I can totally express my creative self. It has given me focus on my career by being a fixed point I can return to again and again when distracted by other things. Just participating in the co-working sessions does so much for me! The group is a warm bath and really surrounds me with people I feel I belong to. I get so much advice and things I never would have thought of on my own.

Natasha, you make the membership so much fun! Your boundless energy is always palpable through the camera, it reawakens me and puts my focus back where it belongs. I don't think I could do without your enthusiasm and constructive critiques anymore 🙂 it has become very valuable to me.
